Carving
Rough Shape
Large cuts establish the silhouette first. The form is checked from the front, side, and base before the smaller details are refined.
Sanding and finish
Surface Work
Edges are softened, tool marks are balanced, and the finish is built up to bring out the wood type without hiding the hand-shaped surface.
Photography and display
Ready To Show
The final piece is photographed, listed, and paired with a printed card so the online gallery and physical display carry the same details.
